Before I even mention the game the box art is very slick, I would very much like to get a poster size of it.
On to the game, the opening sets up the game nicely, I like the feeling of vintage L.A. being more than just a city. Investigating my first crime scene was a real thrill, looking for clues may not be exhilarating for some but it really is fun to put pieces of a crime together and solving it 100%. Loving how the game starts up and what I have been playing so far.
What do you guys think so far if you have been playing the game yourself?
I loved LA Noire so far, the detail is what I really love about it
I'm picking it up on my way home today.. can't wait to give it a go..
Looking forward to the South American launch. I've been hearing good things, but the basic is "Not perfect, but a great game." good enough for me!
Reviewers are too picky about little stuff these days that I hardly consider them a factor when choosing a game. I played through a good 2 hours and I was blown away by the detail, voice work, story, and detective work that I lost myself completely in the game.
I think IGN just gives who ever pays them a 9.5 or a 10. They gave MW2 a 9.5 and I didn't think it was great yet LA Noire only gets a 8.5? I love it so far
this review is good
Wow, 2 hours of game play and I'm hooked. Fun game with a good mixture of problem solving, driving, and chasing/shooting. The facial expressions are amazing!!
Be warned tho, this game won't be for everyone. I'd suggest renting it from Redbox for $2 to make sure it's a buy for you. Also, with no multiplayer available, if you play through games fast.. might just want to rent it anyway.
agreed, as for myself, I aim to get a full 100 percent completion rating for this game.
I've got a good friend who is a complete Rockstar MARK! He actually got mad when I told him that I wasn't purchasing this game….[/facepalm]
I wanted this to be a 40's version of Red Dead, but from the way I see it, it's pretty far from. Plus the fact that playing a Cop just seems off in regards to a Rockstar game.
Savin my money for when any one of my 5-6 friends who purchased the game will have no reason for it once they are finished.
I love relying on the community when it comes to using intuition points, game is getting a lot harder to determine whether I should doubt or call someone out on a lie. Repetition is in full effect when it comes to crimes but I'm not complaining, the story and solving cases are what keeps me going.
