Cheers Eden, I'm really curious, I feel it could be absolutely amazing, or slightly embarressing.
Shawn, the past games are spotty.
Philosopher's Stone to Azkaban – Interesting fun, more kiddy games, just like the first two films. Follow the stories well, collecting 'bertie botts beans' and such along the way, so it's very 'everyone' oriented.
Goblet – Tried to do a more 'level' based game, rather than the open world, so they could add co-op. Didn't work well at all. But at least they tried to make it a bit more realisitic.
OotP and HBP – Based more on the actual films, with amazing representations of Hogwarts. Great fun for fans, and those who like to explore and such, with some ok mini-games. Much higher level of realism, rather than cartoony, made them great for me to play, and I enjoyed completing both of these the most.
Lego – Cutesy game. If you like the other Lego games, you'll like this. Surprisingly well thought-out and attention to detail. Enjoyed playing it, despite some horrible glitches that have kept me from achieveing platinum.
Deathly Hallows looks like a 3rd person shooter style game, and I'll be VERY interested to see how it plays, especially without the central hub of Hogwarts. Also, my local EB is selling it for $50AU instead of the usual $80 to $100AU that games normally cost, so that made me slightly worried.
Will have to wait and see!
@eden hopefully the next naughty dog game is Jak and Daxter, one of my favorite games of all time, but im looking forward to gran turismo 5, little big planet and infamous 2
kennygk, as much as I'd LOVE another Uncharted, I have to agree that I would love to see a Jak and Daxter game on the PS3.
The new Ratchet and Clank games have been amazing, I can't see J&D being any different!
If only Naughty Dog could do two amazing games at once!
It's been already released but I'm considering getting Mafia II eventually. Might even go for a collector's edition.
This fall I'm looking forward to Gran Turismo 5, LittleBigPlanet 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and The Sly Collection.
