pre-ordering is a sucker's game. I can name off the top of my head 8 games in my backlog that I really want to play right now. By the time Batman AC gets to $20 I'll probably just getting around to playing Batman AA which I plan on buying soon for $20. It was one thing when I got a Art book with my Soul Calibur II pre-order or a guide book with my Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass week one purchase. But give skins, DLC, and all the other intangibles.. that's imo a giant rip off no matter how much you over charge for your DLC. It's a bit extreme but I'd seriously rather get a plushie or at least a soundtrack disc.
There are games I want, games on my shopping list as it were, and a few that I've been heavily considering buying at full price but pre-order.. In my life I can't think of three games I've pre-ordered. Games aren't that hard to find.
If I decide to pull the trigger on Uncharted or Batman it's just as easy to do it then and there.
@Oly Skyrim is on my mental list, because I'm buying that bad boy here so I don't have to wait! Still no word on when it will actually release… but I'll have to watch out and get the American version, so I don't get screwed out of DLC again.
the 2 games of my choice are Saints Row 3 and Skyrim on the 360.
Thanks to Skyrim, everything else will have to wait a good 3 to 6 months before i get to play them…and its a pretty long list.

there are others…but i just cant remember them….but these are the games that would've been day 1 purchases if it werent for Skyrim.
Oh yea, total BS on Rage Anarchy Edition. I wanted to do the ol' Amazon Bait and Cancel, but the Anarchy code is IN BOX.
Also, I heard the first run comes with the code inside, so there really isn't any pre-order bonus (>>)
Only thing preordered atm is Diablo 3 … will it come to the PS3? I am still waiting for Starcraft: Ghost!
