QuoteWell Socom 4 will be released next year and i was wondering if anybody has heard any rumors about a beta i know zipper loves to release beta's so i would love to get my hands on one if they were to come around :D
There were rumors floating around on forums that there was supposed to be a beta in November but there clearly wasn't, so if there is gonna be a beta, it should be announced before the end of January, since the release date for socom 4 is Q1 2011.
Right now its Q1 2011 so jan to march, but i'm guessing they'll delay it a bit because of killzone 3

To get early access to the beta, look for the SOCOM 4
callout on the front of all eligible copies of Killzone 3 (including
both the standalone and Helghast Editions). Inside the box you’ll find a
PSN code that you’ll be able to redeem for your early access as soon as
the beta goes live. To find out when the SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta
begins, be sure to check back at SOCOM.com once you pick up your copy of Killzone 3, hitting shelves on February 22nd.We’ll have more information on the SOCOM 4 multiplayer beta itself in
