You mean FFXIV?

I'm wondering that myself, I could get it for the PC but I want to try an MMO out on the console for a change and I'm waiting until the PS3 release because I have a friend who is getting the game who I'll be playing with. Its possible they just want to stagger the release dates a bit, get the servers up and running with the PC Load first before moving across to the PS3 and letting them loose on the servers.

I'm more of a casual MMO guy, I play WoW but I don't spend hours upon hours on it. I prefer to log onto a game, do a few quests with friends or whatever and log out. Kind of why I love Borderlands and as I said with FFXIV I have a friend who'll be getting it so it's worth checking out for me.

I also want to try an mmo on a console. I tried FFXI-Beta on PC and then switched on PS2. But damn the ps2 version sucked and the grinding was sooo horrible, it made the game just a plain boring grind-fest (which is why I hate MMO's in general).

But im willing to give FF14 a look, one of my friends just got his copy this week and i'll have a look. Otherwise Guild wars 2 will get my money and my time. 

The wait makes me want to fight children. I couldn't really get into 13 but 14 looks really amazing.
