Nope. Think of it this way. You have one account, one game, two devices. Its like saying you can't play the game on your 2nd PS3. The game will be attached to your account. I do not believe they will supply hardware for both games.
And remember ALL Vita games will be downloadable, so how could you purchase this game from the store twice if you wanted it on both devices?
and $50/$60 is my highest possible guess. I actually am thinking $40/$50 realistically.
And lets face it…its not generosity…Its simply one way will be accepted, other won't be. So they really didn't have a choice but to launch it like this.

Ok, from reading what it says over at the link I get it's a bundle so it includes BOTH versions in one package. Could be PS3 disc and Vita download code, could be PS3 Disc and Vita Stick. $50 sounds low for two retail games.

Marketing? Face value? It's just one game that can be played on both devices. If you download a game off the apple store you can play it on both your iPad and iPhone without paying for it twice can't you?
Yeeeeees, but in the interview they say "retail BUNDLE with the PS3 version and the VITA version" that right there means two different SKU, bundled together. It's not a single game that can be played across both platforms, it's TWO games that share a save.
they probably worded it like that because a lot of people can't understand the simplest terms lol. Technically, it will be one SKU. Even actual bundles are technically one SKU anyway.
Ok, getting my terms mixed and the Retail Beard approves hahaha. What I meant is that it's two games bundled together. If it's the PS3 retail edition and a code to download the Vita version that COULD lower costs but if it's a PS3 Bluray and a Vita Fun Stick there's no way that will retail for less than $80.
