Sooo, only 3-5 hours AND it takes 2 and a half hours to charge?
I have a post about the battery life coming up soon. It's informative. Besides the 3DS is 4-6 hours of gameplay with 3.5 hours to fully recharge.
Neither of the images above are pictures. They are Sony's rendering. There are some obvious D-pad differences to start. I believe the buttons are a tad smaller than the newer one. The OS image is much more crisp and colorful.
I have a 3DS and I can assure you it does not take 3.5 hours to fully recharge.
I had one and I can assure you that it does lol. That is also Nintendo's official spec sheet info.

Actually Eddie… Nintendo might have done something to the battery with newer models. My sister bought a red one two weeks ago and it takes 2 hours to charge from fully depleted to 100% by leaving it in the cradle.
Downloadable versions will be cheaper than physical games Japan has listed prices to many games showing a discount when purchasing the game as a downloadable title. Katamari for example is ¥4,980 but will be selling for ¥4,480 on PSN. Uncharted, Ridge Racer and several others will be following this. Its about a $10 difference.
That's great news! It's how it should have been during this generation as not having to print a box, manual and disc AND ship it to retailers SHOULD have reduced the cost for us of digital releases. Interesting way to get lots of sales right from the start.
As for the UMD PSP Games… that one will be a headache for Sony. They'll charge UMD owners to download the games they've already paid for? And how much? How will they know we own the games and didn't borrow from a friend to get them at a cheap price?
just hope it wont cost too much, as Kotaku estimated 59.99 is not good for me :(
Uncharted and all "AAA" games will probably go for $59.99 since you're getting a "PS3 game on the go". Prices will probably be between $30-60 depending on the release and the US might get a discount on digital releases vs retail releases as well.
They will not be going for $59 period. If you do direct conversions and not taking in account for the weak american dollar, sure they will seem $60. They will be $40. Worst case scenario, $40 for download, $50 for physical copy.
