might be waiting a long time. Vita card and micro sd are almost the exact same size.

Sony has stated that it will apply more tailered price points to Vita games. Instead of the normaly $40 across the board, games will be priced based on demand and scope. Japan has been doing this for years but its def good news if applied correctly. not all games are worth the top tiered price of a AAA title.

Don't really see them making good on their word in the US. And the prices for the Vita memory cards are just crazy high.

this announcement was for the US. And their prices show this already. Dragons Crown for example is only $30. Ridge Racer is only going to be $20-$30 as well. Few others mentioned.

The memory cards are still cheaper than what the Sony Pro Duo's were when the PSP launched actually lol. But yes…way expensive.

Some more bad news on the Vita. Its functionally region locked for digital media sort of. You can only have one PSN account on the Vita. If you want to log in with a different one you will need to reformat back to factory settings. So PSN and DLC will be region locked completely but physical media can still be played as region free.

Game Informer is suggesting that Vita games could be up to 40% discounted if you buy them from PSN instead of physical copies.

Certain Japanese titles are in line with this as they are about $20 cheaper on PSN.

This is making me want the Vita less and less. I'll just do a wait in see for around 6 months to a year if Vita can survive this hurdle.
