This is making me want the Vita less and less. I'll just do a wait in see for around 6 months to a year if Vita can survive this hurdle.

As far as region free goes, that affects a small number of people and the 3DS is surviving it just fine.

Vita will be offering a "Play before you Pay" method of demos starting on day one of release. Dynasty Warriors will support 3 levels and 8 character demo that you can buy after playing if you so choose.

And will you be able to earn trophies and keep them should you buy the game?

I'm doubting it…but good question. Makes me wonder that if you do something that earns a trophy and it doesn't give it to you, will it give it to you when you buy the unlock…Very good question.

Another one: I've got about 10 digital PSP games right now… those are good to go on Vita, right? Since they're PSN store bought I wouldn't have to pay a new licensing fee or anything, correct?

PSOne games are not compatible at launch but is expected to be added in a firmware update. Actually they might even be added before the NA launch but we know it will not be there for the Japanese launch.

what if it works like the trials for PS+ members, where you get to play an hour's worth of the game, and it will credit you for the trophies you would have gotten during the trial after purchasing (and probably running it for the first time after purchase)

Turns out you CAN have multiple accounts on the Vita

Only problem is the account is married to the storage card so you would need two cards for two accounts, etc.

Also wow…some PSP games wouldn't boot without a storage card inserted either. I did not know that. Killzone Liberation being one of them.
