I was forced to disable it for the time being. If any of you have a pop-out chat open close it. If you have a shortcut to the chatroom. Please don't use them until I give the go ahead. You'll seriously risk bringing the site down a possible have my host shut down the site again.

I've contacted the support of the creators of this chat software. Waiting to hear back from them. Might have to go with another option if this doesn't work out..

Part of this is we are getting hit with a flux of traffic, which is good. But it's a big strain on a shared hosting plan too.

I know you all love the live chat. I do as well. But for now it needs to be turned off.

A big part of it was we got a lot of traffic the last week. A lot more than usual. But ya, the chat system can't cope with all the traffic on my current host. When you get a 500 error that because there was so many requests that the host shut the site off until it the requests came back down.

Right now the requests are looking pretty good with the chat system off.

@Pedro ya, pretty much. I miss the live chat a lot too, believe me.

I'm working on solution, just give me some time. I'm not limiting anyone's freedom of speech. You have groups and forums to use in the meantime.
