QuoteSince we now have a pop out live chat what do you think about not having a "Live Chat" in the sidebar at all and just having a graphic there instead that you click to open (pop out) the live chat?
Just thought of this because if you have the pop up live chat open, then you close the one in the sidebar then start browsing around the site you have to keep closing it or put up with the double pop notification sounds.
Thoughts?
the only reason I don't care for this idea is that the pop out chat is horrible on my mobile. the onsite chat works fine however. If it were a full webpage, I'm thinking my phone would be able to adjust it correctly.
Get that ironed out and I'm all for it :P
Ya, mobile works fine on the Palm Pre and android and have yet to hear back from a iPhone user yet. Here is the direct link to the mobile version if you want to bookmark it on your phone.
Ok, it's now changed over. I like the new layout much more. Also there is a way to open the live chat that's available on every page of this website (but the back end). Can you find it?
Did you like the Live Chat in the sidebar or as a pop out? Explain your reasons why too.
I like both.. the pop out for using when i'm on another program and just want the chat there, like using word, or my chiropractic program, but prefer it on the main site when I'm just browsing. I also like having it there so people who just jump in, jump out, notice we r actively talking, and might join in.. I think a lot of the regulars here stick around for the good chat..
