This is now mandatory. If you've uploaded a photo in the past, that will remain.
But if you want to change your avatar you will need to link your account to Gravatar. After you do that go to:
My Account > Profile > Change Avatar
Then click the "Delete My Avatar" button and you'll be set.
testing….. subscribed to gravatar and deleted profile pic from my ps3b acc't — just want to make sure avatar is being pulled from gravatar.
What's nice to is you can upload several avatars so you can easily switch it up whenever you want to.
I'll get mine done soon Tosh. Would it be the same effect to just link to a photosharing site like photobucket? Or is this gravatar service somehow more efficient?
