yeah gravatar is sort of the defauto standard in avatars. Everyone should have one and it requires no maintenance to use unlike say a FB or social media account. Yuu just sign up stick in a picture and then never think about it again ever.

it's even easier than using SpamGourmet and using SpamGourmet...

It's kind of cool, I had never heard of this before the blog, but since then i'm always surprised when i create an account somewhere and it already recognizes my avatar!

Gravatar is great! I just have the one account and it recognizes my email all over the net so it just posts my avatar no matter where I comment.
