Please leave any feedback on the lottery system I've built in this topic.

If any wording could be changed to make more sense, design tweaks, how it functions, etc.

This is something I'll be selling as a WordPress plugin to others soon. Since I've spent SO much time on it. Just want a little something for my efforts.

Tosh, just one thing I thought about now…

Did you try the button colors (square, X, circle, triangle) for the entry bars? It could match the site's theme…

I actually thought of that. But decided against it. Because for 1 I'm building this for the masses. But secondly I want the progress to go from red > orange > green. So people that enter are motivated to get the progress bars green. But I could add more colors along the way. Any other color ideas?

if everyone enters, you'll never see that last bar turn green haha

New system is great!! Good work Tosh..

You guys should see the admin portion, and winner picker.. 8-)

I've also had issues with G+, but figured out why.. kinda a bar drop down to leave a message, that gets in the way issue… Tosh I'll video and send you my issue with it.

yeah sorry guys it's hard to get online.. I'll double check next time and write out my steps so you can see what's happening.

For most of the contests entries they don't work right away. For instance if i like and comment on FB it don't get the point subtraction unless i refresh (which is what i do and that's works fine), same with twitter. With Google Plus it's a touch confusing because i think we have to un-plus and then re-plus PS3Blog.Net? So after you do that you're supposed to share but the share doesn't always show up and even after refresh i don't see that java "-10" that normally pops up. At least that's what I remember. Like I said when I get the opportunity I'll see if I can post screenshots or what have you.

You do get points subtracted actually. Even without a refresh. It's calls the server via AJAX in real time and gives you points.

I just have it manually refresh with lottery ticket, URL type entries. For example bonus url entry, facebook fan pgae & youtube channel.

With Google +1 for PS3Blog.net itself and following us on twitter. You get points for that as well in real time. But you'll never see that step again since you did it once. So sounds like everything is working as designed.
