Tweaked more settings this morning. Moved the .js for the social sharing to the bottom for faster loading.

Tosh, couldn't you post a list of all the plugins used? then perhaps we could give you some feedback on weather they're useful or not so you could make those decisions.

In a effort to optimize the site more. I've been seeing what plugins we really need and what's can be tweaked.

I got rid of the quicknews plugin. Seems like it was a resource hog. But I manage to re-create what it did with about 10 lines of code. After I did this, the site seems to load a LOT faster...
