Ok, it's still installed. But I've removed the top bar. Wish I could have it pop up and the bottom instead.

I like the feature where you highlight a word and it shows info, very futuristic, but i don't like how the bar blocks the top as well

I find it allright.

But I have the same complaint, as it blocks the top bar, maybe there's an way to make it show up only when you highlight something?

Maybe it's not possible...

You may have noticed a new bar that follows you around the site and if you highlight a word on the site it will search the web for you. We are just testing this out right now. I can't say for certain if we'll keep it or not.

Only thing I don't like about Apture so far is that it covers the top menu...
