If the site really needs money that badly, then buying points would be fine--but unless the site is *really* in desperate need, it just seems tacky. I seem to be in the minority, but I just don't view this as necessary. People that don't post regularly are probably not going to start posting...

Ooo I like that! Like donate tons of points for the short run it does nothing, but later on it's like great investment :P That would be quite a pickle on deciding how you throw points around. I'd love a test program at least :D
