I watched the original Tron off and on growing up. But I haven’t seen it since I was a kid really. Wonder how well it’s aged..

I’m the same as Tosh. Haven’t watched it in well over 10 years and I’m not even sure if I ever did see it from start to finish. I’m gonna make it my goal to watch it this weekend.
With regards to this sequel, Olivia Wilde in 3D alone has me sold

Watched the Original Tron and had the family over. They didn’t like it really. Thought some parts where funny (not supposed to be). I still liked it ok. There is this really funny scream at the start of the movie, lol. I took a photo of it.

Yes, it might not be compatible with some programs. But what can you do :] I enjoyed it as well. I embraced the old-school and I have to say, I was immersed in the story to the point where it was a feeling similar to that when I would stop playing a game I’m engrossed in, once Flynn left the digital world and returned to the real world.
The scream you mentioned, was that Clu when he was derezzed?

@laughorlament No it was when his program was in the tank about to hit the wall, lol. So funny to me for some reason. Watched that part several times. My sister was watching it with me and well. She recorded the scream on her cell phone for a ring tone lol.

Side note: With Tron: Legacy, the IMAX cameras they are using for Tron are better than the ones used for Avatar!
