Which do you prefer?

I have used both extensively and it really depends on what your going to use it for. For a blog WordPress is king, if you need a more complex site sometimes Joomla is the way to go.

My other site SlySpyder.com is running on Joomla and it does exactly what I need and there isn’t a inequivalent for WordPress really.

As far as managing them, WordPress is far easier. Joomla has a learning curve for sure.

WordPress is noob friendly, Joomla is more advanced and i think its slightly more powerful than wordpress…but wordpress is way more organized and user friendly.

@Acezakj have you tried any others like Drupal?

@Acezakj Also most of the GOOD components for Joomla are commercial or very hard to find a free version of what you need.

Pretty much all the plugins for wordpress are free and they are decent too.
