I played for an hour yesterday, had 3 freezes. was able to complete about 1 game till the end, (but had joined in the middle of the game)

Went o nthe forums, and a few users seem to have problems and had to rebuild the ps3 database after several freezes. I’m most likely going to wait for a patch before playing again. Really breaks the testing experience, and i don’t want no problems with my ps3….

@FrenchK Yikes having to rebuild the database isn’t to good. You don’t lose anything doing that right? I played about 3 or so matches before my first freeze. Then they came every other game it seemed after that.

RE: PS3 Freezing issues.

I’ve been able to play for a while now without any freezes (other than forgetting the work-around).

Here’s how to work-around the freeze issues with PS3:

Do not get more than 3 kills in a row with your main weapon – it freezes when you scorechain above 40 (number in lower right corner of HUD). You either have to get killed, or try using your pistol.

Do not check the scoreboard while at the re-spawn screen. This will cause the game to freeze. For good measure, don’t check the scoreboard at all.

Do not hit a bunch of buttons when you get killed. Mostly seems like hitting “X” when killed will cause a freeze.

That’s about it for now. The only time I freeze up now is when I forget to switch to pistol after getting 3 kills. Played for hours last night, and just played for about 90 minutes just now, until I forgot to switch to pistol, at my forth kill the PS3 froze…
