Site Suggestions : 2 years, 2 months agoI think we should make a guideline for maximum image size on the main page; for instance, the recent Assassin’s Creed topic Luke posted, the image was big (too tall), and there wasn’t much text. I think, for main page images, we make the maximum 620×250.

You can actually. On the home page I could have the rating not show at all. Then on a single post the ratings would be there. Think that’s better?

I’ve thought about this in the past. But what stopped me was a new writer coming on and then having their very first post get bad feedback… might make them not want to post again.

I see what you’re saying but it could also make them stay and fight for their opinion. I don’t think our user base is that hostile anyway haha.

I think negative comments would have a bigger affect than a simple rating
