A group for those that like alternative energy sources. The idea of living sustainably, using less resources, living “green”, etc.

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dvCkTGdZJx8 Nissan LEAF 2.0 to Have Wireless Charging Capability, Longer Range, Cheaper Price! Very cool. It uses electromagnetic induction to charge wirelessly. No word on how much the wireless charging unit or the new leaf will run. Looks like Nissan is leading the pack in electric cars so…[Read more]

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTkmTsKLRq0 The people from enviromission have this great idea! I’d love to see this put into action myself! How a Solar Tower Works There are 3 main components. Here’s EnviroMission’s description: -The Tower The Tower is the thermal engine of the Solar Tower technology. In it, heat is transformed into mechanical…[Read more]

This is pretty cool, get a little workout and get to where you need to go. But with up to 4 people. It’s a electric car but you can charge it while driving it. Be a fun extra car if you have space for it. They have a new one that can go 60 mph! [...]

  • … wtf man. Pickle Monger points us to the news that some Utah legislators are hoping pass new laws to add an extra fee for owners of hybrid and electric vehicles. The complaint is that those people don’t spend as much (if anything) on gas, and thus don’t pay gas taxes. Of course, they’re also not [...]

I would love to test drive this car. But it hasn’t arrived in my town, they say later this year..

  • Look really good from what I’ve seen. Would like to drive one myself.

  • I really hope this doesn’t happen :( Full story here.

SALT LAKE CITY – Beneath the lush, green hills of eastern Utah’s Uinta Basin, where elk, bear and bison outnumber people, the soil is saturated with a sticky tar that may soon provide a new domestic source of petroleum for the United States. It would be a [...]

  • Be a sad sad day if we can’t have maple syrup anymore.

  • wow.. very cool. Soo many great ideas, but the reality of many of them seeing mass production is unfortunately very slim

  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiZ5bSntwhM It’s a very cool idea, wonder if it will take off if only in some small areas to start. But some things to consider. Snow removal in states that get snow… You could at least have it installed at sidewalks and parking lots. It would be cool to drive on a glass road I [...]

  • Wow very impressive.. I hope we see this type of thin in mass production in the next decade..

  • Dude whole foods is awesome.. there is only one even close to me and its about 25mins away. The rason is there are a couple chains similar here called Henrys or Sprouts, but still whole foods is the best. Trader Joes has some great stuff too.

  • Was chatting with my local Nissan dealer about the all electric Nissan Leaf and they said this: Utah will not get them until October at the earliest. Also, The first year’s worth of Leaf production is strictly pre-orders. That means we don’t get one unless a customer selects our dealership for delivery. This also means the [...]

  • I normally shop at Smith’s Food and Drug . Our last shopping trip we went to the Whole Foods Market . I was expecting it to be more money wise than, but actually it was about the same, maybe even less. Plus the food is better for you. So from this point forward all food shopping will be made [...]
