Madagascar Institue’s “Jet Pony” ride at MakerFaire 2010. A pulse jet on the back of each side spins the two riders around a central pivot, while a second pivot point at the top near the spindle lets the riders rotate out from center until they are perpendicular to the ground. The pulse jets were so loud you could hear them all the way across MakerFaire.

That car security system is bad ass. I’ve always wanted something similar. Say when you lock your car a external battery separate from the primary battery electrifies the entire metal of the car, so if somebody touches it ZAP! Ahhhh, somebody.
