So, Eddie, what are you getting at launch? The Wi-Fi model, 32 GB card, Uncharted and Wipeout?
Wi-Fi, 32GB, Uncharted and maybe Super Stardust Delta. Also looking at the RPG’s because I love full featured RPG’s on the go.

The memory cards are selling fine. The problem is Sony needs to kill off the PSP in Japan like they did in NA and Europe. It sold more than the PSP did at launch.

High price, few Japanese geared titles, heavy competition from major titles on the 3DS.
Its needs a Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest for Japan and Call of Duty for North America is pretty much the bottom line to sell at its current price. I think it will sell well in Euro-land due to a top notch Fifa[...]

Uncharted, Super Stardust, Gravity Rush and Disgaea 3 are probably the only ones I’d be interested in.

Line-up to line-up…can’t see a better launch ever in history. But handhelds are hard to sell especially at its price so it needs more well known titles as well as new IP’s for sure.

Two knew apps are getting released for the Vita.
Wake-up Club which is an alarm clock service that runs in the background and can interrupt your usage/gaming if you want it to.
Picture Park which is a fancier version of the the DS/3DS Pictochat.

324k sales is just fine on a week it had to go against Monster Hunter on the 3DS. Chances are they shipped too many 3G versions that people don’t really want to pay for. Puts it in the top 5 or 6 openings of all times.

Battery reports are surprisingly good. One guy has a video of him playing for 4 hours on max brightness with wifi on. He played Uncharted, Hot Shots, Peacewalker and a few smaller games in that time.
Edit: there is a glitch with Uncharted that it turns wifi off for some reason so wifi was off d[...]

Saw that. Still the same as other products on the market but at least you can still import games.
Also there is a rumor that demand is so high in Japan that Sony shipped an extra 200k units for launch bringing the total to 700k at launch to be shipped. That would make the Vita the largest d[...]

It’s not really similar to the PS3 but it is easy to develop for. And the reason you see a crap ton of games is because Sony is making some fantastic relationships with devs. Developers created the Vita so they are all very eager to try something on it.
