I didn’t get a chance to post the Blu-ray releases last Monday with all the craziness going on. If your a fan of anime or Studio Ghibli you should really check out Ponyo. The animation is 100% hand drawn, it’s visually amazing and the story is good too. The movie 2012 is a good disaster flick, story is so so, but the special effects are great. After hearing good things about “Where the Wild Things Are” I choose to watch it. Honestly I didn’t like it, the movie could have been 1 hour shorter in my opinion. But that’s just me, I know a lot of others liked it. I really liked the first Boondock Saints, but I never got around to watching the 2nd one. Was it any good?

Sorry I forget to post last weeks Blu-ray releases, slipped my mind. Here is the list though. I haven’t seen any of these movies, so I can’t really comment on them. I have seen bits and pieces of The Universe from the history channel. It’s pretty interesting. Anything for you this week?

Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, The Universe: The Complete Season Four, The Informant!, The Box, Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant, The Crazies.

Some new movie releases, a anime about the game Dante’s Inferno. Then a old Schwarzenegger movie. Not much going on this week. Anything for you this time?

Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: A Serious Man, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Dante’s Inferno: An Animated Epic, Running Man (1987), Couples Retreat, The Phantom, Stargate SG-U: 1.0, Hard Rain.

I enjoyed the first Ong Bak (which is also out this week on Blu-ray), but haven’t got a chance to see the second one. Was it any good? I’ve heard good things about Zombieland as well. Then another animated Hulk movie from Marvel Comics. I hope they make another Wolverine one. I actually liked that one. That remind me, anyone know when this Anime Wolverine is coming out?

If your a Michael Jackson fan the film “This Is It” is out on Blu-ray today. Love or hate him, he was a great performer. I caught bits and pieces of WWII in HD on the History Channel when that was on, pretty interesting. I really enjoyed the Surrogates as well. Anything for you this week?

You can now buy the Bourne series on separate Blu-ray discs instead of bundled together now. I’ve seen a trailer for Smokin’ Aces 2: Assassins’ Ball, looks like a fun action movie. Gamer on the other hand looks awful. Anything interest you this week?
