Ed Fear // PR & Community Manager, Curve Studios had this to say
Everyone here at Curve is “double rainbow” -levels of excitedness about the fact that you’ll soon be getting your mitts on our labour of love, so make sure you let us know what you think!
If you haven’t yet read about the long development history of Explodemon, check out our previous post here, and there’s lots more information about the game and an early trailer in our very first post here – see if you can spot how much has changed between then and now!
Oh, and if you’re a little light on money this month, fear not: we’re giving away THREE copies of Explodemon RIGHT NOW! If you want to know more, make sure you follow @curvestudios on Twitter!
For the low price of $9.99 your getting a comical game spanning 12 levels with what is being said by the developers, “An Epic story!”. These indie developers put alot of love into thier titles and this looks no different. Look for Exxplodemon with the PSN Store update today.
Besides the prototype trailers and the like, this is the first official trailer for the upcoming PSN game, Explodemon! It seems the whole premise is to blow yourself up throughout the levels to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, etc. Here’s what Curve Studios had to say about the title:
An explosive homage to SNES-era platformers mixed with a modern physics-puzzle twist, Explodemon is non-stop action mayhem like you’ve never seen before. But don’t take our word for it: check out the brand new trailer to see the first footage of the game in action.
Featuring athletic feats of aerial nimbleness, sizzling combo-laden combat, and a dash of physics puzzles, the trailer will give you a small-but-perfectly-formed taster of what will definitely be this winter’s most explosive PSN release.
Looks interesting, but I’m not sure I much care for the time freeze when you come into contact with an objective/enemy.
