Deep Silver announced today that Dead Island Riptide, the follow-up to the 2011 global smash horror hit Dead Island, is now set to launch in North America on April 23, 2013.
Dead Island Riptide brings more epic zombie thriller action to fans with additional gameplay mechanics, all-new gorgeous locales to explore, more types of zombies to provide constant threats, an additional character class and the best co-operative zombie action experience in gaming.
Players who preorder Riptide early at participating retailers, will get The Dead Island Riptide Special Edition, which puts tempting extras in your survival arsenal. The SE will include a pack of exclusive weapon mods (for more creative undead destruction!), a digital strategy map (for the best expert advice on how to own the approaching hordes!), and a unique character skin (looks good and helpful for recognition among the undead.). Supplies are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first serve basis.

Sacred 3 Revealed

Deep Silver just revealed the first details about the upcoming Action RPG Sacred 3. I haven’t played the first two, but I have heard really good things. This game will offer four player co-op and looks great. This is definitely looking like something I’ll need to keep my eyes on!
Sacred 3 is in development at keen games and is planned for release in 2013. Also, for those of you who would like to know more about the past story, the prelude to the story told in Sacred 3 can be experienced in the side scrolling action brawler Sacred Citadel, developed by Southend Interactive, and will also be available in 2013 on the PSN!

Dead Island Riptide

The sequel to Dead Island has now been fully revealed by Deep Silver, and I’m sure all Dead Island fans will be thrilled to know that their characters from the first game can be imported into the sequel! Not only that, but you’ll also be able to pick a 5th character that will bring new abilities to the table.
