If you haven’t been following Randy Pitchford’s Twitter account @DuvalMagic, you have missed out on a bunch of shift codes for Gold keys in Borderlands 2. However, your still in luck.
This weekend, Gearbox will be handing out SHiFT codes that can be redeemed for a Golden Key in Borderlands 2 on the Borderlands Facebook and and Gearbox Software Twitter pages! You don’t need to even watch all day, as they put out the following schedule:

Greetings, fellow Pandorians.
Worst lead-in ever? Probably. Taken quite some time for your old pal to write another review? Most likely.
While you’re tapping your foot for an apology that you’ll never get, and one I’m not ready to give, let me tell you about this gripping game – maybe you’ve heard of it? It’s called Borderlands 2. Made by the fine folks over at Gearbox, and by fine – I mean completely awesome.
Another opening cinematic leads in with another catchy tune by the band “The Heavy,” titled “Short Change Hero,” which really sets the pace for this game. Considering that this game never short changes you in any department is something that is really spectacular and also something that is really lacking in today’s games: content.
It’s where this game shines.
Gearbox has just revealed that the first campaign add-on for Borderlands 2, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty will be available for download next Tuesday, October 16.
“Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty is the first of the four add-on campaigns announced for Borderlands 2 and will be available for $9.99 / 800 Microsoft Points by itself or as part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass which bundles all four campaign add-ons for $29.99 / 2400 Microsoft Points.”
Borderlands 2’s Mechromancer will be released today, coming at us one week earlier than announced. Gaige the Mechromancer and her pet Deathtrap look to be a very fun addition to an already excellent game. You can check out her entire skill tree right here.
