Blake Griffin Wants to be in Rage

Los Angeles Clippers power forward Blake Griffin, the 2011 Rookie of the Year, who was also selected as an All-Star, and won the 2011 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, now has a new goal: “to land a starring role — or any role — in id Software’s upcoming shooter, RAGE.”

This trailer is great, and shows the variety game publishers are willing to use, to promote their games.

RAGE “The Shrouded” Official Gameplay

The latest RAGE gameplay video, takes us into the Shrouded clan’s bunker with a mission to destroy the bomb caches.

This game might be the unexpected hit of the year. RAGE is being developed by id Software, the creators of DOOM, QUAKE, and Wolfenstein. It is scheduled for release in North America on September 13th, and September 16th across Europe.

Rage “Anarchy” Edition and a New Gameplay Trailer!!

Betheseda announced today, that everyone that pre-orders RAGE in North America at Gamestop, Amazon.com, Steam and Direct-to-Drive, will automatically be upgraded for free to the “Anarchy” Edition. This edition includes four exclusive in-game items (Double Barrel Shotgun, Crimson Elite Armor, Fists of RAGE & the Rat Rod Buggy), all pictured above.

Also, be sure to watch this new gameplay trailer for RAGE, showcasing a mission in “Dead City”. This game is really looking good.

A Rage Comic Has Been Announced

Bethesda Softworks and Dark Horse Comics have announced a three-issue comic book series based on id Software’s upcoming RAGE video game.
“This original miniseries is being written by Arvid Nelsion, the acclaimed creator of Rex Mundi, and penciled by Andrea Mutti (DMZ). The cover art is being created by Glenn Fabry, best known for his work on Hellblazer and Preacher. Set prior to the events in the game, the comics are an extension of the RAGE universe and will provide numerous insights into the game’s storyline. The first of the three comics will be available in North America and the UK on June 22, 2011.”
