Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Raven Software discuss the ALL-NEW Face Off gameplay style and Collection 2 DLC in this behind-the-scenes multiplayer video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This mode actually looks really cool, and I can’t wait to try it out.
As usual, no release date has been announced yet for PS3, as this will be a limited time Xbox exclusive.
Totally new to the franchise, FACE OFF distills all the fun and intensity of multiplayer into a new breed of 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2 close combat. Featuring smaller, super-concentrated multiplayer maps specially designed for FACE OFF to encourage strategy, skill, and teamwork like never before.
This is a small 4mb fix that takes care of all the amazing people who add buttons next to their names. I always laughed when I saw it but it can be bothersome. I may go on a rant a bit here for a moment but how many Call of Duty titles do we have now? How many times are they going to release them with the same set of problems?
Regardless we have had a ton of patch’s and there has been many improvements to what remains to be the most brainless fun out there. Here is a full list of what has been changed and what is in the works.
This year’s two biggest military shooters, both released within the last 30 days, are, of course, Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3. IGN has pitted the two in a head-to-head competition by putting the players (read: IGN’s readers) in charge of the outcome across three categories: graphics, multiplayer, and campaign. Given the sales numbers and the fanboyism behind one of the titles, the outcome is rather surprising. Just look at the total votes for each title at the end. I got a chuckle out of it.
The big one has landed, its made $500 million and broken the sales records already but is it worth all the accolades? Modern Warfare 2 is part of the long running Call of Duty series that recently left the WWII era and went modern in 2007. This is the direct sequel to 10 million selling COD 4 Modern Warfare. Now there has been plenty of talk about the controversial scene and I must warn you there will be plenty of spoilers in this review.
