To keep pace with Sony’s Collection games (such as God of War and Ratchet and Clank), Sony has announced that they will now be releasing Insomniac’s ‘Resistance’ series as one of these collections. Not only does it include all three games, but also the “best DLC” from Resistance 2 and 3.
The game collection hits store shelves this winter (no set date currently, however) and will retail for an attractive price of $39.99. If you’ve never picked this series up before, it could be something that you may consider picking up!

Here’s another HD collection to add to your PS3 library.
Today, Ted Price of Insomniac Games announced that the first three Ratchet and Clank games, initially released on the PS2 all those years ago, will be the next remastered trilogy coming soon to the PS3. The release of the Ratchet and Clank HD Collection will mark the 10th anniversary of the series.
Look for it to feature all of the regular goodies we’ve come to expect from first party remastered titles, including 3D support, as well as a competitive multiplayer mode. The Ratchet and Clank HD Collection is dated for a May 16th outing in Europe, but due to a “very special” surprise, Lombax fans in North America will have to wait until the Fall.

This was our first big giveaway running the updated lottery system, and it worked great! Even added some features to it along the way. In total, we had 193 entries, totaling 12,315 points! Then we had 5 video entries, and those are worth 4 entries each, so that bring the total to 213! Always fun to see video entries. If you didn’t get a video entry in, you really should. You just need to donate at least once to the lottery, and then you qualify. It’s worth 4 entries, no points required at that point.
This time, I cut up numbers and placed them in a bowl for my wife to pick one at random. Video proof of this after the jump. The winner is nitestar! Congratulations! Thank you to all that entered. We have another big giveaway coming up soon, so keep earning those points!
