Game Informer’s March issue will be bringing us all kinds of information on Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us. They are also doing a month’s worth of updates on their site, where they promise “video interviews, a special edition podcast, and a few surprises.” There will be a reveal of three in-game images later today. You can get in on the action on gameinformer.com.

Naughty Dog and Sony just released this behind the scenes video of The Last of Us teaser trailer. Pretty cool stuff here. The mocap (motion capture) is exactly what what was used for Uncharted 3. I can’t wait to see more.

Incoming Uncharted 3 DLC | Flashback

Naughty Dog’s new DLC entitled Flashback (Available in the PlayStation store at the moment) will feature 4 new/old maps digitally remastered with dynamic lighting effects, new textures, weather effects and few technical changes from the 2010 game of the year winner Uncharted 2. The maps Cave, Fort, Lost City, and Sanctuary are available for the price of $9.99. If you are a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club then this DLC is completely free of charge. Naughty Dog has also detailed 3 upcoming character packs including Rogues Pack 1 and 2 which will let you play as some of the major thugs and minor characters from Uncharted 3, and the Donut Pack 1, which, if you guessed, will grant some of your favorite characters from Uncharted 3 a giant size. Donut Sully for the win!
Jak & Daxter HD Collection Footage

Here’s new gameplay footage of the Jak & Daxter HD Collection. While the footage in the video is of Jak II the Jak & Daxter HD Collection includes the first three games of the series, Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II and Jak 3. The Collection is set to arrive in North America on February 7th.

Hope everyone has a good holiday and they are ready for the New Year!
I know all of you will be buying Uncharted 3 and Battlefield 3 for your loved ones (or maybe Santa will bring it for you), so I will be hosting a game night on Dec. 27th. We will start with Uncharted and then move on to Battlefield depending on interest. Please join the XMB chat so that we can all communicate easily when setting up the first game. After you join the XMB chat, I will tell you the secret word so that you can get your points for the night.
We will begin around 7 pm CST (1 am GMT), and I can play for 2-3 hours.
The Last of Us Dynamic Theme Free

Sony is offering up a free “The Last of Us” dynamic theme. All you have to do is Like and watch the trailer over on Sony’s Facebook page! Easy right? Naughty Dog Reveals The Last of Us

Before Spike Tv’s VGAs aired last night there was alot of speculation surrounding SCEA’s new IP called The Last of Us. With very little information to go by leading up to the big Saturday night unveiling, many believed the game to be in the hands of either Sony Santa Monica or Guerrilla Games. Imagine everyone’s surprise when the makers of Uncharted formally announced The Last of Us during the show.
And they brought a trailer with them!

Jak And Daxter HD Collection Dated and Detailed

The Jak and Daxter HD Collection will be heading to a PS3 near you in February 2012. Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells stopped by the PlayStation blog to share the good news today. The Jak and Daxter Collection will include the first three games of the series, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3.
Also like previous HD collection this one will include individual trophies per title, remastered graphics and 3D support. Although Naughty Dog’s co-president made the announcement, the Jak and Daxter HD Collection is being handled by Mass Media, who is working closely with ND on the project.
