Lost Dimension Is Now Available In Europe!

After seeing a release in North America thanks to Atlus, Lost Dimension is now available in Europe at retail and on the PSN thanks to NIS America. You can check the European trailer below.

To subdue the threat The End poses to the entire planet, several countries create a special forces group called S.E.A.L.E.D., which is comprised of eleven psychics with superhuman abilities. Each soldier has their own talents and skillsets to use in combat, which can be expanded after gaining enough experience in the field. Bonds of friendship will form amongst the members of S.E.A.L.E.D., but be mindful of which allies to keep close, as The End mandates the player must begin eliminating teammates. Make sure to accuse the right teammate of being a traitor though — once the final battle with The End begins any remaining traitors will fight the main character alongside him.

[Vita Review] Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls

danganronpa3_headerimage

Ultra Despair Girls is the third game in the Danganronpa series that started in 2010 on the PSP with Trigger Happy Havoc. Said PSP version was later ported in 2013 to the PlayStation Vita, and the same happened with the sequel titled Goodbye Despair which released first on PSP 2012 to then get a port to PS Vita in 2014. Ultra Despair Girls is a follow up to the events of Goodbye Despair but does not require players to experience the previous game.

Ultra Despair Girls is my first experience with the Danganronpa universe, and I enjoyed this game and its gameplay so much that (as of the time of writing those lines), I think this is a serious contender for a Game of the Year award on the Playstation Vita!

Read below to see why I liked this game so much!

New Details For PS3/Vita RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold!

trailsofcoldsteelheader

The Legend of Heroes is a RPG series which got its first Playstation release on the PSP a few years ago, titled “Trails in the Sky“. I played it a lot, and loved every second on it. You can imagine how happy I was to learn from NIS America (which is publishing this game in Europe with XSEED Games taking over publishing duties in North America) that a new website has been launched, and offers new information about this upcoming release, namely new features of the game as well as a release window!

Now, the follow-up “Trails of Cold” is set to release later this year on both the PS3 and the Vita, which made me VERY happy! Another good thing I noticed in the new site is that the story can also be enjoyed by newcomers, meaning that completing the previous game isn’t mandatory to play this one.

The events of Trails of Cold Steel are expertly told so that longtime Trails veterans and newcomers to the series alike can equally enjoy its detailed, highly nuanced storyline.

As we can see from the various screenshots they provided on the new site, this game is a HUGE step up from the previous PSP-only release.

I’m REALLY hyped for this new game! Any of you interested in this RPG? Let us know in the comments below!

————————————-

About the game:

Taking place on the same continent as the fan favorite Trails in the Sky offshoot of Nihon Falcom’s storied The Legend of Heroes franchise, Trails of Cold Steel (Sen no Kiseki in Japanese) is the first in the series to tread Erebonian soil and explore the inner political conflicts of this oft-mentioned powerhouse nation in detail. With a standalone story that also delves into the expansive lore that has become synonymous with the series, players can enjoy school life and bond with fellow students to earn new abilities in battle, take advantage of speedy, tactical turn-based combat with the newly-developed “ARCUS” system, and take part in dramatic events that stand to shift the balance of power between Erebonia’s feuding nobility and commoners.

More information about can be found on the official site: http://nisamerica.com/games/trails-of-cold-steel/

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel releases worldwide on Fall 2015, and will be published by NIS America in Europe, and by XSEED Games in North America.
