Looks like EA sent more invitations out, this time we got a date to mark in our calenders. EA/DICE seems to be aiming for a full-on-guns-blazing-announcement of BF4, on March 26th at 7PM(PDT)/10PM(EST). Proof you say?! Well, your wish is the Internets command:
We’ve all known for quite a while that Battlefield 4 was coming, when EA offered Battlefield 4 beta invites with pre-orders of Medal of Honor: Warfighter in 2012. Which honestly, didn’t do too hot. But, it did shave some sales off the Rockefeller of the FPS world, Call Of Duty. I can’t wait to see what DICE has got for us next-gen. Maybe, we’ll finally get some actually Battle-size-shootouts. 32 vs 32, on the PS4, would be pretty damn smooth. Ah yes, one final thing: Kotaku posted some BF4 game-art. Which gives us our first look at what we can expect, in the next installment of the 10 year-old Battlefield series.
DICE and EA are rumored to be revealing Battlefield 4 on Mach 26 at an invite-only event held during this year’s Game Developer’s Conference. How does Ace know this magical news? Well, obviously I was invited…or IGN shared the invite they received for the event. Oh, and it’s obviously a Battlefield thing(Sorry SimCity fans):
Rumors and such have been spreading for some time now about a super slim PS3 model potentially launching in the near future. This isn’t exactly something new as there have been multiple versions of past Playstations as well.
Through FCC leaks and picture taken, it looks that it is indeed true that there will be a new model Playstation 3. It is smaller on all fronts and even sports a nifty top loading feature that you can see below.

Via Dutch Site PS3-Talk.de, Skate 4 will be announced by EA for the PS3 and the PS Vita. The details are sketchy so I’m not 100% sure if its Skate 4 for both consoles or a separate title completely for the Vita itself.
Here are some details but keep your eyes open for more coming soon:
Not too much is known about T.U.M right now other than it has a slightly creepy trailer. I get an I-robot feel meets Ratchet and Clank with a little Flower. Nope, doesn’t make any sense to me either but it …
God of War III was ‘officially’ the last God of War in the series. Sony did mention prior to GOW3’s release that it would be Kratos’ last outing.
Kratos went straight to the top – after finshing off the likes of Poseidan, Hades, Helios and his half-brother Hercules, he fulfilled his vengeance by killing off Zeus towards the end of the game.
That for me was the moment of the game I truly realised that there would be no more Kratos adventures for me to enjoy.
Of course, I was wrong as we saw the PSP games and the legendary PS2 games remastered – but they were mere episodes of Kratos’ past enjoyed by many originally on a different platform – but now in HD on the PS3 – and they didn’t disappoint.
It now seems that GOW3 wasn’t the end of our much loved character, as a certain job requirement has sprung up across the web. A listing posted on Creative Heads states that Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) developer Santa Monica is looking for a Senior Staff Concept Artist for a God of War project.
Sony has recently announced that it has shipped 3.7 million PS3’s in Q2 of this fiscal year which is a full 1.4 million more than the Xbox 360. This brings the total PS3’s to 56 million where as the Xbox …
