This week, I wanted to present to you my review of the awesome and gorgeous Ni No Kuni. This game released early in 2013 and was almost instantly branded as a classic.

Your quest in Ni No Kuni revolves around fixing people’s hearts, broken by the evil witch. There are also a ton of side-quests in which you must either kill enemies, alchemize items or recruit monsters in your party. Each monster in the game can be recruited to your team a-la-Pok√©mon. It took me around 45 hours to complete the game, and double that to Platinum it!

Ni No Kuni is a game that I remembers for its excellent soundtrack, gorgeous and huge world, and colorful characters. The only major issue I had with this game is how bad the allies’ AI were, and if you play this game, you’ll understand what I mean!

Even with the mentioned AI issue, I still definitively recommend this turn-based RPG to every RPG fan! As a side note, I suggested this game to at least four of my friends, and they all loved it.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is the latest Japanese-RPG from game developer LEVEL-5 (Dark Cloud, Dragon Quest VIII, Professor Layton) and an anime studio called Studio Ghibli. This game is an HD remake of Ni no Kuni, a Nintendo DS game that was exclusively released in Japan in 2010 .

I’ve played through Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch completely and my experience with this game is one that’ll remember for a long time! Almost everything is perfectly done and even if there are a few minor hiccups through the adventure, this game is definitively one of the top PS3 JRPGs!

Ni No Kuni Western Release Delayed

I am a bit disappointed in the news of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli Western release of Ni No Kuni been delayed to 2013. According to publisher Namco Bandai, The game’s American release has been pushed back to 2013, instead of Winter 2012.

Looking forward for this game. If you haven’t watched the English trailer, go ahead and do so.
