Ninja Gaiden 3 Confirmed to be in Development

Today at the Tokyo Game Show, Tecmo Koei held a  behind closed door reveal of Ninja Gaiden 3. Very little was  revealed except for the fact that Ninja Gaiden 3 is currently being developed. They “announced Team Ninja and Ninja Gaiden are going in a “new direction” and promised to display a more “human side” of hero Ryu Hayabusa. To further illustrate their intention, attending journalists were given a piece of Concept art.” No mention of a release date, or even platform, however I’m sure we’ll see this on the PS3.

Ni-Oh (Oni) Still in Development? Action Done by Team Ninja?

According to the latest Famitsu, Ni-Oh has been changed from an action game to an action-RPG and it seems the action is being developed by none other then Team Ninja.

This game was announced in 2004 under the name “Oni” from Koei before the PS3 even released. The game was supposed to have used a lost script written by Akira Kurosawa (famous Japanese director/writer). It features a samurai with blonde hair looking to find his own identity in war-torn Japan during the 16th century.

The game was going to be based on a movie as well. The movie has been since canceled, however Koei insisted the game is still in development.
