After feeling a bit disappointed with Dynasty Warriors 6 (released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2008), I had my doubts when Tecmo Koei announced the 7th game in the series late last year. Since the second game released for the PS2, Koei had offered little incentives for fans to remain interested in the franchise, which is based on Luo Guanzhong’s famous historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. However, as more details about the Dynasty Warriors 7 surfaced, it was clear that this would be the series’ true next gen outing.
I was lucky enough to have the chance to review Warriors: Legends of Troy for you. I’m going to lay out each aspect of the game, a conclusion, and score at the bottom, based upon my time with the title. Let us begin.
Just several days ago I alerted some of you that there was a new Dynasty Warriors 7 gameplay video and screenshots. Today I am here to give you some more of that screenshot goodness, hit the jump to look at several different shots from different points of the game.
We received word that there are a bunch of new assets out for Dynasty Warriors 7, and rightfully so, as the game is on the brink of release in North America. The game which has already released in Japan on the 10th of March, will be out across the global with a release in North America on the 29th of March and the 8th of April in the EU.
In Dynasty Warrior 7, experience a new Story Mode and follow the captivating story of four Kingdoms battling for rule of China. Experience the individual tales of the Shu, Wu, Wei, and the new Jin Kingdoms as they shape China from the warring chaos at the end of the Later Han period to the division of the Lan into Three Kingdoms. Take your faction through this key point in history and tell the story of the Dynasty that rose to seize power and unify the country once again

Those that are Ninja Gaiden fans will be happy to know that a new installment in the franchise is coming. Scheduled to release sometime in 2012, the team behind the game promises to show fans a side of the character that has never been seen before. With Yosuke Hayashi, the Leader of Team NINJA at the helm, this next iteration of the is set to draw in a new fan base, yet keep all of the components in tack which drew in so many of the hardcore fans so long ago. More information will be released at E3 2011.
