Retailers are already taking orders for LittleBigPlanet: Karting, The upcoming racing game from developer United Front Games in conjunction with series creators Media Molecule. The game was first announced in March after leaked info surfaced the web and a huge poster we’ve reported on PS3Blog.net in February.
If you pre-order LittleBigPlanet: Karting you will be treated to this fine Kevin Butler DLC pack with Kevin Butler Character, Sackboy Costume and an Executive Golf Kart.
LittleBigPlanet: Karting is schedule for release on November 1st 2012.
Sony has formally announced Little Big Planet Karting for the PS3. While the surprise may have been spoiled a few weeks early when Canadian retailer Future Shop leaked a poster for the game during the PlayStation Destination event, today we get our first look at gameplay for the new title.
In the capable hands of the studio that brought us ModNation Racers, LBPK will feature four player multiplayer, gadgets from previous installments of the platformer plus new ones and a whole lot more. Without revealing too much about the racer developers United Front Games promise that players will be able to “modify the rules of the game itself to create completely new modes and challenges.”
Sackboy takes to the races later this year.

A rumored LittleBigPlanet Kart game was the talk on a few gaming websites based on a tweet made by a Canadian games retailer called Future Shop, who claims that they were shown the game at a PlayStation event in the US.
According to Future Shop, the title is in development by United Front Games the “studio behind Modnation Racers”, and it will feature some kind of Move compatible wheel that has not been reveled yet.
ModNation Racers is a Playstation exclusive looking to do for kart racers what LittleBigPlanet did for platformers. With numerous customisations available from driver and car designs to constructing tracks, all of which can be shared online. There’s plenty on offer from ModNation Racers but is it king of the mods or just another kart game?
