Wow, that’s a lot of PS3’s! It’s nice that the PS3 is a dependable machine or they couldn’t rely on these server clusters. Sony will be setting up these PS3 Warhawk Server clusters all over the world. You’ll be able to tell which ones they are because they’ll show up blue in the server list.

Of course you can always create your own server as well. You can set up a 32-player “dedicated” server or a 24-player “player” server. Warhawk features a unique server method that’s called “Integrated Game Server” or IGS. So instead of connecting to Sony directly, you connect straight to other PS3’s in your own area, or around the world. This also helps with latency.

I was luckily part of the Beta and this game is a must buy! I’m looking forward to see what they updated since the Beta.
