The European PlayStation Blog has had a Q&A session with the guys behind the firmware update. Not much has been revealed, but there are a couple positive responses to some of the questions asked, including:

I don’t like the size of the font and the icons. Why can’t I change it back to its old size?

Based on your feedback, we are looking at the possibility of making the changes optional.

That’s nice to hear! Also of note, the interviewee also talked about the reasoning behind PAL territories not receiving any dynamic themes, stating:

Remember, we have 29 stores across 25 countries, which require the use of 13 currencies and 8 languages, so it’s more difficult for us to publish last minute content than it is for either the US or Japan.

He also went on to mention that the EU store will, indeed, be getting some dynamic themes this week for sure. They are also still at work trying to resolve some games crashing, namely Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. You can read the rest of the Q&A over at the Official European PlayStation Blog.
