The Weekly Recap (September 6-12)

This week marked the 8th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. 2,993 people lost their lives. Tons of conspiracies and whatnot have been floating around since. Was it the government? Was Osama bin Laden really involved? None of that really matters, though, nor will we ever know for sure. What matters is we remember those who unwillingly lost their lives that day. Memorials and ceremonies will probably go on every year until the tenth anniversary. A lot has changed since then, but we shall never forget where we were that day, and how shocked we all were.
Now onto some lighter news, I decided to get this one done a little early. There wasn’t really too much that was new. We got a few tech demos on some of the patents that were filed a while back, including face recognition and head tracking. Sales data also started coming in for August and PS3 is really starting to look good. Can’t wait to see what the results will be for September. Anyway, onto the more in-depth analysis of this week’s articles.
We have a new NFS: Shift contest, this time for the Los Angeles release party for this Wednesday. We have passes available, and you can sign up for them, and get more information, here. If you live near the area, don’t miss out and sign up!
As far as this week’s rewards go, ‘Contributor of the Week’ is awarded to Trev with 9 articles out of the 34 submitted. Sweet!
As far as the ‘Most Liked’ article goes, that is awarded to Eddie with his article PS3 Slim Sales Musing with 12 likes. Sometimes I think Eddie is fixing the results :P.
As far as the article with the ‘Most Comments’, one of our new writers, NunoDavesh, gets that for his article Kingdom Hearts 3 to be Unveiled at TGS?. Not bad for the new guy! Good going!
Now for the week’s riddle:
Take 9 from 6, 10 from 9, 50 from 40 and leave 6.
