Devon Herrington the Marketing & PR Manager for Creat Studios dropped by the Official PS3 Blog today to announce their latest and greatest SkyFighter. SkyFighter is hitting the PSN next week at $9.99.

SkyFighter is a side-scrolling aerial combat with a bunch of creative features. You battle hordes of hostile enemies in the air, on land , and even at sea in different conditions ranging from rain or shine and day or night all doing this in a variety of aircarfts.

SkyFighter’s fast-paced missions will enlist you to bomb the enemy’s equipment and fortifications, shoot down their fighters with your machine guns, and destroy their hostile bombers with your missiles. The action isn’t all dogfights, either. Stealth Missions require you to take cover in clouds, avoid search lights and dodge floating air mines.

The team has even included 2-player co-op, and even a 7 player Dogfight Mode for those that are feeling extra lucky. The graphics on this game look completely stunning and with full 1080p support, custom music and SIXAXIS controls they have no doubt in their mind that fans won’t be disappointed. I mean come on who else incorporates a player to shake their controller to extinguish the flames of your burning plane?
