Amidst the rumors prior to January 27th, we really didn’t know much about the PSP2/NGP but there was one site that hit the nail on the head with the exact specs of the device. The part that is overlooked was they also mentioned some other specs that were not confirmed during the Playstation Meeting 2011 event. Looking back at this particular french website, and the fact that they were virtually the only site to get everything 100% correct, it has earned them enough credibility to at least be brought into speculation. Here was their original rumored specs with unconfirmed info.

– Resolution: 960 x 544
– Quad core ARM Cortex A-9
– PowerVR SGX 543 MP4+
– 512MB LPDDR2 RAM (1GB devkits)
– 128MB of VRAM
– 16GB flash + SD slot
– Wifi, 3G, bluetooth
– Accelerometers, GPS, gyroscope, front and back camera

If these stats turn out to be correct, this machine is a beast.
