Wizards of the Coast has announced that the first DLC expansion for Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will be released on September 19, 2012 (“give or take a day”). Hopefully, this means that the expansion drops with the next PSN update on 9/18. The expansion will feature five new decks, each of which is two-colored. The expansion, then, is timed to promote the release of the first set in the Ravnica block (in the world of paper Magic). Return to Ravnica, a set whose mechanics encourage pairing colors when deck building, releases on October 5, 2012. If you missed our review of Duels 13, check it out!
