SEGA and Double Fine Productions, announced today that The Cave, created by legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, will be available on January 22nd from the PSN, for $14.99. The game looks like a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to give it a go.

Named GameInformer’s Best Adventure Game of E3 2012, The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert, and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. Players can assemble their team of three from seven unlikely adventures, each with their own unique personalities and stories, and then descend into the mysterious depths of The Cave.
