Anime-streaming PS Vita Crunchyroll App is live !
Crunchyroll is a subscription-based anime streaming service. If you’ve never heard of this service yet (and it’s very possible you haven’t), just imagine Netflix, but specializing in anime streaming with English subtitles. This service had been announced a loooooong time ago for the PS Vita, but no news came after said announcement.
Now, the Crunchyroll App is finally available! As soon as I downloaded the application, I logged into my account and tested it with a few of the animes I have been following this season (namely Log Horizon, Golden Time and Nagi no Asukara). As expected, it works flawlessly, and I’m REALLY happy to FINALLY have this application available on the Vita since I’ll now be able to watch my favorite animes on the go! I noticed a glitch that dims the backlight when watching for a prolonged period, but I’m sure they will fix this quickly!
Are any of you interested in this service? Do you use your Vita to watch TV shows/movies or for video streaming?
