PS3Blog.net greatest E3 games announcements and trailers!
E3 2014 is practically over and I while I think that this year’s announcements were a little weaker than those from last year (remember that at E3 2013 we had a lot of new next-gen games), there were a few announcements and trailers which stood out for a lot of us.
I’m going to share with you the announcements and trailers that made me love E3 2014. Of course, your top favorites of this year’s E3 might be different from mine, so do let me know in the comments below!
LittleBigPlanet 3 (PS4)
Oh YEEESSSS ! I bought LittleBigPlanet the day it was released. Same with LBP2 and with LBP Vita. I’m REALLY happy to see that this game will be released on the PS4 and I can’t wait to play it with my wife, who also enjoyed the previous games! Hurray for SackBoy and all his new (strange) friends!

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (PS4)
A new Uncharted game is always a good thing! I know I’m late, but I plan to play Uncharted 3 later this month so that I can catch up with the series. The graphics are looking gorgeous on the Playstation 4 hardware.

No Man’s Sky Gameplay Trailer (PS4)
WOW, just WOW! I can’t believe an indie studio this small (4 people) can deliver an experience of this level. I was AMAZED by the graphics and the soundtrack, and I’m pretty sure this will be a unique experience. From the trailer, I’m not sure what the actual gameplay will be like, but I WANT to play this!

Tales of Xillia 2 (PS3)
If you know me a little, you’ll know that this is one of the games I’ve been waiting for! I LOVE the Tales Of series and I’m counting down the days to when this one is released this summer!

FINAL FANTASY AGITO (PS4)
I never expected to see the day when Final Fantasy Agito (renamed as Final Fantasy Type-0). Square-Enix finally listened to us and is remastering this game (which had been released for the Japanese market last month) for the PS4 console. There was a small mixup for a few minutes when it was reported that the game was coming out on Vita, but things were quickly cleared up before things escalated.
From the following gameplay video, I think that the game probably should have been released a few years ago on PS3 or Vita since the characters looks as if they were just upscaled from a PSP game (see video @1:20).

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (PS Vita)
I’m a fan of Japanese games and anime, and the announcement of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment a few months ago made me very happy. This game will be released by the end of summer, so I can’t wait to see if it’s as fun as I’m hoping it to be!

Entwined (PS4)
A surprise for most of us, Entwined was announced AND released on the same day right during the Sony E3 Conference. The art style is very nice and I’m eager to see what the actual gameplay feels like in my hands!

The Legend of Zelda Wii U Trailer (Wii U)
E3 isn’t just about Playstation! The latest announcement from Nintendo for Zelda Wii U looks like a great game for the platform! I’m sure die-hard Nintendo fans (I’m looking at you, EdEN) are heads over hells with this announcement but, as was the case with most of the games announced at E3 by the big 3, people will have to wait unitl 2015 to play it.

PlayStation TV
While technically not a game announcement, PS TV is important! This device will allow streaming from a few services to your television (Netflix, and all other Vita-compatible apps), and it even plays almost all of the Vita games (a few ones aren’t supported for obvious reasons). I’m sure this device will find a lot of new owners since Day 1!
