According to Sony’s online support page, they are shutting down the servers for MLB 14: The Show on June 18th 2015.

This is surprising considering that this is only last year’s version. Servers shutting down in sports games is not new, however there normally takes at least a couple of years before a company shuts them down. One has to wonder if with MLB 15: The Show about to come out on March 31st this is an attempt to push people over to the new game.
