This week on Review Revisited I thought I would touch on a great Strategy RPG…Rainbow Moon!

This is a great game developed by eastasiasoft. It has a great story, characters, and battle system. Basically, it has all the necessary elements for building a good RPG.

This is a great way to get started in the strategy RPG genre, especially if you’ve found it a daunting genre before like I did until I tried this game. It eases you in, starting off small and working its way up while teaching you the systems in the game in a very organic way.

I know a spiritual successor has been in the works for a while now called “Rainbow Skies”. I know they were originally shooting for 2014 but have obviously missed that window. There currently is no release window for that game, but hopefully they’ll have something to announce soon. The website just a got a face lift a few weeks ago.
