PS Plus Update for April
Two PS+ debuts this month, one Wii U port, and a great Vita game (although not listed it should be Cross-buy with PS4). Get ready for your PS+ update for April!
PlayStation Plus Free PS4 Games Lineup April 2016
As you can see, they are:
Dead Star (PS4)
Combining the beauty of space combat, the fast-paced nature of arcade classics and the depth of team-based gameplay with loads of awesome loot, Dead Star is a twin-stick shooter built around a deep multiplayer experience. Fight and scavenge your way through online battlefields whilst earning loot and levels to further customize your experience – including the ability to invade other live matches with a massive warship.
London is falling. How long will you survive? The nail-biting survival experience of Zombi is now available on the PS4â„¢ system. Test your will to survive, but beware: one wrong move can cause you to lose everything.
I Am Alive (PS3)
In this post-apocalyptical tale, there are no supernatural threats, just an everyman who faces a decaying and hazardous world and humanity’s darkest inclinations. Will you hang on to your humanity and help strangers or are you ready to sacrifice others in order to survive?
Savage Moon (PS3)
This action-packed tower defense strategy game takes you to distant planets where you must defend mining facilities from relentless Insectocyte monsters. Build towers in strategic locations in order to fend off wave after wave of increasingly tough attackers. Then use funds from kills and mining to build, upgrade, or research new weapons and technologies to strengthen your defenses. It will take equal parts skill and strategy to survive in Savage Moonâ„¢.
Shutshimi (PS Vita)
Shütshimi is a randomized shoot ’em up about a muscle-bound fish with memory problems.
Armed with your trusty bullet-morphing shotgun, defeat or make your way through waves of enemies and collect power-ups as you battle your way through each of the game’s bosses. But there’s a catch (there’s always a catch): you’ve been cursed with an incredibly short attention span. Combat waves and upgrade cycles only last 10 seconds a piece, so you’d better act fast!
A Virus Named Tom (PS Vita)
A perfect place. A city without traffic. A dog that doesn’t poop. All products of the brilliant mind of Dr. X, but hell hath no fury like a mad scientist fired by a giant corporation. In this unique action-puzzler, you take control of TOM, a virus created for one purpose: revenge.
Hack your way through brain scrambling puzzles while maneuvering through a thumb cramping maze of enemies.
I really liked Shütshimi, when it launched, it’s also Cross-buy so you should get the PS4 version. I am unfamiliar with Dead Star, but it’s got great buzz. EdEN has played Zombi on the Wii U as it was a launch title (as Zombi U) and he says it’s worth playing. A Virus Named Tom is making its PS Vita debut and should be a fun puzzler with quite a bit of content.
What are you guys looking forward to playing from this month’s selections?
